Chinese University Expands Cooperation with Uzbekistan
A delegation from the Yellow River University of Water Resources discussed personnel training and new educational projects with Uzbek universities and companies.

A Chinese university is expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan.
A delegation from the Yellow River University of Vocational Education and Science in Water Resources, led by Vice Rector Zhu Huanli, visited Uzbekistan from August 4 to 7 to develop educational cooperation.
Representatives from the Chinese university held talks with Uzbek higher education institutions and Chinese companies operating in the country. During the meetings, they discussed the training of internationally recognized specialists and the joint creation of the "Da He Workshop."
The delegation included leaders and staff from the Department of External Relations and Cooperation, as well as representatives from the hydrotechnical and electrical engineering departments.
At Tashkent State Agrarian University, Zhu Huanli met with Deputy Rector Abdulaziz Abduvasikov and other university representatives. The Chinese delegation presented information on the development of their university, its achievements, and its international relations.
During the talks, the parties discussed opportunities for jointly training specialists for water management and agriculture in Central Asia. In addition, scientific research, faculty and student exchanges, and other areas of academic cooperation were discussed. Following the meeting, the parties reached agreements and signed an inter-university memorandum of cooperation.
KIMYO International University in Tashkent served as another venue for negotiations. The parties focused on training specialists for the new energy sector and the digital transformation of education.
Zhu Huanli proposed using the joint creation of the "Da He Workshop" as a platform for innovative research in the field of new energy and the training of specialists in various fields. The participants agreed on the project's parameters, signed a corresponding agreement, and held an opening ceremony for the workshop.
The results of the joint development of the "AI + New Media" course were also presented at the event.
The delegation visited China Energy Engineering Corporation (Gezhouba) Samarkand Cement. The company's Deputy General Director, He Peng, held talks with representatives of the Chinese university.
The parties discussed the training of qualified specialists for work abroad and reached a preliminary agreement to create specialized training programs for the company's employees. It is also planned to establish a base for international internships and subsequent employment.
The Yellow River University of Water Resources has been actively developing international cooperation in Central Asia in recent years and providing professional training for faculty and students from universities in the region.
In the next stage, the university intends to use the results of the visit to further expand international educational cooperation and develop the Belt and Road Initiative.
