Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – On August 7, a meeting was held at the "Uzto'chikhimsanoat" association with a delegation from China's Yifa Commercial Group and the "One Belt, One Road" Enterprise Development Association in Wenzhou.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding investment cooperation in the textile industry of Uzbekistan, implementing joint projects and developing trade in finished products.

Chinese partners expressed interest in implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan, establishing a trade and distribution center and supplying finished products to the domestic market. They were also invited to develop joint projects in the production of artificial and synthetic fibers. They were informed about the favorable conditions created for investors and export opportunities from Uzbekistan to the European Union, the United Kingdom and the CIS countries.

Yifa Commercial Group is a large industrial platform uniting about 7-8 thousand companies and brands, managing 9 trade and production complexes in Hangzhou with a total area of about 700 thousand square meters.

At the end of the meeting, local enterprises were invited to the 16th Yifa Global Conference on the Exchange of Experience in the Clothing Industry, which will be held in Hangzhou on August 28-29, 2026. It is planned to organize B2B meetings between Uzbek and Chinese companies as part of the event.
