Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —

The Uztekstilprom Association held a meeting with representatives of Yifa Commercial Group and the Wenzhou Belt and Road Enterprise Development Association. During the talks, the parties discussed opportunities to expand investment cooperation, implement joint projects, and develop trade in finished textile products, according to the Uztekstilprom Association.

The Chinese partners expressed their willingness to invest in Uzbekistan, establish a trade and distribution center, and establish supplies of finished textile products to the Uzbek market.

The Uzbek side, in turn, proposed exploring joint projects in the production of artificial and synthetic fibers. The delegation was also briefed on favorable conditions for investors in Uzbekistan and opportunities for exporting products to the markets of the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the CIS countries.

According to the association, Yifa Commercial Group unites approximately 7,000–8,000 companies and brands and manages nine trade and manufacturing complexes in Hangzhou, covering a total area of approximately 700,000 square meters.

Following the meeting, Uzbek textile enterprises received an invitation to the 16th Yifa Global Conference on Experience Exchange in the Apparel Industry, which will be held on August 28–29, 2026, in Hangzhou.

B2B negotiations between Uzbek and Chinese companies are planned for this event.
