Cargo transportation permits to China will now be issued for specific flights.

The E-permit electronic permit system, which regulates international road freight transport between Uzbekistan and China, has transitioned to a new operating principle: documents will now be issued for a specific trip at the carrier's request. National carriers are advised to submit applications only if they have an actual planned shipment.

Previously, it was possible to obtain permits in advance. However, the practice of issuing such documents without a real need or "in reserve" led to the unjustified use of the established quota, potentially limiting the opportunities of other market participants.

When submitting an application, carriers must accurately indicate the checkpoints through which they intend to enter and exit China. After receiving the permit, strict adherence to the declared route, established rules for the transportation of goods, and the procedure for staying in China is required.

Compliance with these requirements will be monitored by inspection services in both countries. Any violations identified will be recorded, and if confirmed, the system will automatically restrict the issuance of future electronic permits to the carrier.

The agency also warned of potential technical issues during the implementation of the new system. If any problems arise, carriers are advised to report them immediately, providing the company name, vehicle registration number, or application number.
