Uzbekistan has amended the E-permit process for shipments to China.

Uzbekistan has switched the issuance of E-permits for cargo transportation to China to an "upon request" basis and introduced restrictions for violations.

Uzbekistan has changed the procedure for issuing electronic E-permits for cargo transportation to China.

The E-permit system for international road freight transportation between Uzbekistan and China now operates on an "issuance upon request" basis.

The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan recommends that national carriers only obtain permits if they have a specific planned shipment and a genuine need for the document.

The ministry warns that obtaining permits unnecessarily, including issuing permits "in reserve," leads to an unjustified use of the established quota and may limit the capabilities of other carriers.

When submitting an application, carriers are required to clearly indicate the checkpoints through which they plan to enter and exit China. After receiving the permit, they must comply with established cargo transportation regulations, follow the declared route, and adhere to the requirements for staying in China.

Violations committed by carriers in Uzbekistan or China will be recorded by the relevant inspection services. If a violation is detected, the system will automatically restrict the carrier's ability to obtain subsequent electronic permits.

The Ministry also warned of possible technical failures during the implementation of the updated system.

If technical issues arise, carriers must immediately report the problem, providing the company name, vehicle registration number, or application number.

This information will allow specialists to determine the cause of the error and resolve it.
