Uzbekistan national team defender Behruz Karimov scored his first goal for "Lugano". He authored his team's fourth goal in the match against "Saint Gallen" in the 8th round of the Swiss Super League, which took place on September 16.

In the 36th minute of the match, Karimov directed the ball into the goal from between two defenders after the opponent's goalkeeper made a mistake in collecting a long pass from his teammate.

The match ended with a score of 4:1. "Lugano" scored all the goals in the first half. Karimov was substituted in the second half.

"Lugano" leads the Swiss Super League with 22 points, having secured 7 wins and 1 draw.

As a reminder, Behruz Karimov transferred from the "Surkhon" football club to "Lugano" in August, signing a contract until 2031. According to Championat Asia, his transfer cost the Swiss club 250,000 euros. In addition, "Surkhon" football club will receive 10% of the player's next sale amount.
