Behruz Karimov made his debut for Lugano in the Swiss World Cup.

Uzbekistan national team defender Bekhruz Karimov made his debut for Lugano in the Swiss Super League in a match against Sion.

Behruz Karimov, a defender for the Uzbekistan national team, made his debut for Swiss club Lugano on matchday five of the Swiss Super League. His debut came in a 2-1 away win against Sion.

Lugano quickly opened the scoring, with Derek Moncada scoring in the third minute. In the second half, in the 55th minute, Winsley Boteli equalized for the home team. Beckham Castro scored the decisive goal, securing Lugano's victory, in the 79th minute.

Karimov came on as a substitute in the 74th minute of the match. In stoppage time, in the 90th minute, the Uzbek defender received a yellow card.

Lugano currently leads the Swiss league table with 12 points from four matches.
