At least four people killed in strikes on Kherson and Sumy

According to Ukrainian officials, at least four people were killed on September 18 as a result of Russian strikes on the Kherson and Sumy regions. In Odesa, an administrative building was struck twice within a short period of time, injuring ten people.

At least four people killed in attacks on Kherson and Sumy

In the Kherson region, two people lost their lives as a result of a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle strike. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the incident occurred on September 18 at around 18:00 in the settlement of Tekstylne. As a result of the drone strike, two men sustained injuries incompatible with life.

On the same day, it was reported that a hospital in the city of Kherson was also targeted by a drone attack. The unmanned vehicle dropped an explosive device onto the territory of the medical institution. According to preliminary data, no casualties were reported in this attack.

On September 18, Odesa was also attacked several times. According to the regional department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, one of the strikes hit an 11-story administrative building, causing a fire there.

While emergency services were working at the scene, the same building was struck once again. As a result, ten people were injured, including two rescuers.

On the night of September 19, Odesa faced another air attack. After the air raid alert was declared, local residents shared images on social media showing a fire in one of the residential buildings in the city. Detailed information about the full consequences of the incident was not initially provided.

Meanwhile, in the city of Sumy, a multi-story residential building was struck on the evening of September 18. According to the Ukrainian side, the attack was carried out with a guided aerial bomb. As a result of the explosion, several apartments were damaged and a part of the building collapsed.

According to preliminary data from local authorities, at least two people were killed and seven others were injured in Sumy.

On the same day, the consequences of strikes were also recorded in the Kyiv region. The head of the regional military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, said that two men were injured as a result of a strike on warehouse buildings in the Bucha district. Damage to warehouse facilities was also reported in the Boryspil district.
