Apple presented its first folding smartphone
Apple has entered the folding smartphone market with the iPhone Duo. The new device is equipped with two displays, a dual camera, and an iOS interface that adapts to the folded state.

Apple presented its first folding smartphone — iPhone Duo.
Apple presented the iPhone Duo as the first folding smartphone in history.
The iPhone Duo is a device with two screens, dual cameras, and a notch for the front camera, which the company has been working on for more than 10 years.
The diagonal of the inner display is 7.5 inches, and the outer display is 5.4 inches. The size of the outer display is equal to almost 90 percent of the iPhone 18 Pro screen area.
The smartphone is also fully compatible with the Apple Pencil. It is presented in only two colors — gray and dark blue.
The iPhone Duo can be folded in any position, and iOS changes the interface accordingly.
Apple has already worked with Netflix and other popular app developers to adapt their interfaces to the new screen format.
The iPhone Duo battery is designed for one day of operation. When playing video, the inner screen provides up to 31 hours of operation, and the outer screen up to 44 hours.
The price of the iPhone Duo starts at $1999. The top version with 2 TB of storage is valued at $2999. Sales will start on October 23.
