Andijan accounts for 36 percent of clothing production in Uzbekistan

In January–August 2026, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced clothing products worth 24.2 trillion soums.

By region, the highest indicator was recorded in the Andijan region — 8.7 trillion soums. This accounts for nearly 36 percent of the clothing products manufactured by large enterprises in the country.

In the Tashkent region, clothing worth 2.9 trillion soums was produced. The Namangan region and the city of Tashkent followed with indicators of 2.4 trillion soums and 2.2 trillion soums, respectively.

In the Fergana region, the volume of clothing production amounted to 1.7 trillion soums. Products worth 1.3 trillion soums were produced in Kashkadarya, and 1.2 trillion soums in Samarkand.

In the Bukhara region, this indicator stood at 831.3 billion soums, in Khorezm at 772.6 billion soums, and in Navoiy at 720.2 billion soums.

Clothing products worth 414.1 billion soums were produced in Syrdarya, and 389.8 billion soums in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

In the Surxondarya region, large enterprises produced clothing products worth 258.4 billion soums. In the Jizzakh region, this volume amounted to 244.8 billion soums.
