Textile production in Uzbekistan increased by 10.1%.

In January–June 2026, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced textile goods worth 54.4 trillion soums, with exports reaching $1.6 billion.

From January to June 2026, large textile enterprises in Uzbekistan produced goods worth 54.4 trillion soums.

According to the National Statistics Committee, this is a 10.1% increase compared to the same period last year. Textile exports also showed significant growth, increasing by 24.1% to reach $1.6 billion.

Finished textiles accounted for the largest share of exports, accounting for 53% of the total. Yarn accounted for 31% of exports, knitted fabric for 9%, and fabric for 5%. Hosiery and carpets each accounted for 1%. Thus, finished textile products and yarn together accounted for 84% of all textile exports from Uzbekistan in the first six months of 2026.
