Andijan region leads in clothing production
Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced clothing worth 19 trillion soums from January to June 2026, with the Andijan region leading the way.

The Andijan region became the leader in clothing production among large enterprises in Uzbekistan in the first half of 2026. According to the National Statistics Committee, total clothing production in the country from January to June 2026 reached 19 trillion soums.
A significant portion of this volume, namely 7.1 trillion soums, was accounted for by the Andijan region.
The Tashkent region ranked second in terms of production volume, with 2.1 trillion soums. Namangan region produced 1.8 trillion soums worth of clothing, and the capital, Tashkent, produced 1.7 trillion soums.
Fergana region rounded out the top five, with production volume reaching 1.4 trillion soums.
Following are:
* Samarkand region – 1 trillion soums.
* Kashkadarya region – 897.9 billion soums.
* Bukhara Region — 659.8 billion soums.
* Khorezm Region — 620.1 billion soums.
Large enterprises in Navoi Region produced clothing worth 578 billion soums, in Syrdarya Region — 324.7 billion soums, and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 307.8 billion soums.
The lowest clothing production volumes among the regions were recorded in Surkhandarya Region (227.1 billion soums) and Jizzakh Region (203 billion soums).
Thus, Andijan Region demonstrated the highest clothing production volume among large enterprises in the first six months of 2026.
