An Uzbek woman left homeless in Istanbul has been returned to her homeland with her three children
An Uzbek woman who found herself in a difficult situation in Istanbul has been returned to Uzbekistan with her three children.
The woman had gone to Turkey for work, but ended up homeless and without social support there with her children.
Upon receiving the appeal, the Consulate General, in cooperation with the Migration Agency, provided the woman and her children with food. In addition, the necessary documents were processed, and air tickets were purchased for their return to Uzbekistan.
The woman and her three children were sent from Turkey to Uzbekistan on September 17.
The Consulate General announced that work to provide consular, legal, and practical assistance to citizens of Uzbekistan who find themselves in difficult situations abroad will continue.
