600 dollars demanded for employment of English teacher at Kashkadarya school

In the Kashkadarya region, a school principal was detained on suspicion of accepting a bribe. He demanded money for hiring an English language teacher.

As reported by the press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, the operation was conducted by the department's Karshi city branch. The principal of a school in the Guzar district received 600 dollars for the employment of a teacher. He was caught red-handed.

A criminal case has been initiated under the article on accepting a bribe. The investigative actions are ongoing.

Earlier in Namangan, a previously convicted employee of the People's Reception was detained. He promised to secure a land plot for house construction in exchange for a bribe.
