Alibaba unveiled its second-generation "smart" glasses

China's Alibaba company presented its second-generation "smart" glasses created on the basis of Qwen, priced starting at $450, it wrote.

The device was developed in two versions in total — N1 and N1 Pro. The Pro version is additionally equipped with a gaze-tracking system, which allows the glasses to determine which object the user is looking at, recognize it using artificial intelligence, and provide information about it.

The N1 Pro also supports payments authenticated via iris scan and tracks health indicators, including pulse, blood oxygen level, and skin temperature.

According to the company, in standby mode, the glasses can work for up to 25 hours on a single charge, and up to nine hours when listening to music. The batteries in the temples of the glasses are made to be replaceable.

The base N1 version costs $450, while the N1 Pro is $523. The glasses have already gone on sale in China, but it is unknown when the device will appear in other regions.
