Smartwatch that converts conversation into text presented

China's Mobvoi company has developed the TicNote Watch smartwatch, which records conversations and automatically converts them into text. The device can display speech as text on the watch screen, and once the conversation ends, it can prepare its summary using artificial intelligence.

To start voice recording, it is enough to press and hold a special button for two seconds. There is also a separate mode for taking short notes.

The device's body features two microphones with a noise cancellation system. According to the company, they can capture speech from a distance of 3–5 meters.

One of the main features of the TicNote Watch is that it displays the conversation as text directly on the watch screen. According to the manufacturer, the system can convert speech in 17 languages into text in real time.

During the conversation, the user can mark an important sentence with a single press. Once the recording is finished, the system collects the marked sentences, while artificial intelligence generates a summary of the conversation.

The watch can record voice continuously for more than 24 hours. Its internal memory stores over 200 hours of audio recordings. The recorded data is synchronized with the TicNote app and the company's cloud service. There, it is possible to search audio recordings, organize them, and build a note database based on them.

The TicNote Watch also displays data such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation level, stress level, sleep status, and routes via GPS.

The Shadow AI 2.0 assistant on the watch allows users to obtain information from saved audio recordings and search for necessary data among multiple recordings.
