Admission to vacant positions at universities will continue until August 28

The admission process for vacant places in higher education institutions will continue until August 28. Answers to the main questions of interest to applicants have been provided.

Applicants who participated in the entrance exams and scored 56.7 or higher, but were not admitted, can apply for vacant places. Also, applicants who did not choose a higher education institution and field of study during the selection stage of admission will be given the opportunity to apply for vacant places.

An applicant can choose up to 5 fields and higher education institutions, if there are vacant places in the fields of study appropriate to his/her field of study. In this case, there is an opportunity to choose one of the forms of full-time, evening or distance learning.

Applications for vacant places are submitted through the personal account of the Agency for the Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications. The applicant can participate in the competition through the "Application for Vacancies" section in his personal account.

Applicants registered for vacancies are selected in strict accordance with the sequence of points they have accumulated. Those who successfully pass the competition are recommended for study on a basic fee-contract basis. That is, admission to these vacancies is not based on a state grant.

The application process for vacancies will last from August 22 to August 28. The results of the competition - the mandate - are scheduled to be announced within a week after the completion of the admission.

If the direction that the applicant wants to choose is not visible in the system, the admission quota set for this direction may have been filled. Additional admission is not carried out for all educational directions, but only for vacant positions for which the admission parameters are not met.
