29 men aged 70 and over became fathers in the first half of 2026

From January to June, 373,389 births were registered in Uzbekistan. The highest proportion of fathers falls in the 25-39 age group.

In the first half of 2026, 29 men aged 70 and over became fathers.

According to the National Statistical Committee, during the same period, the largest number of fathers—309,182—were in the 25-39 age group.

Among men under 25, 34,526 fathers became fathers, and in the 40-59 age group, 29,403 men.

In the 60-69 age group, 249 men became fathers.

In the oldest age group, 70 and over, 29 cases of fatherhood were recorded.
