In January-June 2026, 373,389 live births were recorded in Uzbekistan.

The number of fathers over 70 years old has been announced.

According to the report of the National Statistics Committee, a total of 373,389 live births were registered in Uzbekistan during January-June 2026. The number of fathers over 70 years old during this period was 29.

Births are distributed by age of fathers as follows:

* Fathers under 25 years old: 34,526

* Fathers between 25 and 39 years old: 309,182

* Fathers between 40 and 59 years old: 29,403

* Fathers between 60 and 69 years old: 249

* 70 years old and older: 29
