Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – During a recent working visit to China, a delegation from Uzbekneftegaz, headed by its management board chairman, engaged in discussions with the leadership of China's Jereh Group. Jereh Group specializes in producing advanced equipment for the oil and gas sector. The dialogue centered on the existing collaborative efforts, the progress of ongoing joint ventures, and potential avenues for broadening their partnership.
It was highlighted during the meeting that Uzbekneftegaz and Jereh Group have formalized several agreements in recent years. These agreements are designed to bolster the technical capabilities within Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry.
A key point of discussion revolved around Uzbekneftegaz's initiative to expand its drilling operations. In this regard, both parties examined the feasibility of procuring contemporary cementing units, which are essential for the construction of both exploration and production wells.
Furthermore, the participants reviewed commercial proposals put forth by Jereh Group and exchanged perspectives on the provision of equipment under terms that would be mutually advantageous. A specific focus was placed on identifying ways to streamline supply conditions, acknowledging the enduring nature of the cooperation between the two entities.
The discussions concluded with both parties reiterating their commitment to advancing their partnership and embarking on new projects aimed at modernizing Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry.
