Uzbekistan and China Explore Fresh Investment Ventures

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – On July 29, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan engaged in discussions with a Chinese delegation. The delegation was headed by Zhang Xue, who serves as both the Director of the Fanlian Innovation Education and Research Center for the Real Estate Industry and the Deputy Chairman of the Industry Cooperation Branch of the China Real Estate Industry Association.

Accompanying Zhang Xue were representatives from Chinese firms specializing in construction, real estate, glass production, the manufacturing of door and window systems, and interior design.

The meeting focused on several key areas: Uzbekistan's capacity for investment, the potential for local construction material producers to export their goods, and the outlook for collaborative project execution.

The Chinese delegates received information regarding available land parcels for investment projects, alongside details on the existing engineering and transport infrastructure.

The meeting concluded with an agreement between both parties to persist in jointly formulating investment initiatives and to move forward with the practical execution of promising projects.
