**Chinese Investors Target New Ventures in Ferghana Region**

Authorities in Uzbekistan's Ferghana Region have engaged with representatives of Chinese businesses to deliberate on the execution of novel investment projects within the industrial and building materials manufacturing sectors.
These discussions took place during a meeting between Regional Governor Khayrullo Bozorov and a delegation of senior executives from leading Chinese companies. The group was led by Ying Yuxing, general director of the Guangdong Home Building-Decoration Materials Chamber.
During the session, it was noted that the ongoing development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China is generating additional prospects for broadening interregional cooperation.
In recent years, ties between Ferghana Region and Chinese provinces, as well as business circles from the People's Republic of China, have strengthened across the areas of investment, industry, and trade.
The Chinese delegation presented proposals for establishing manufacturing facilities for building materials and metal structures within Ferghana Region, specifically identifying the Bagdad District. Additionally, the investors conveyed their interest in pursuing projects in other promising industrial fields.
