Chinese firm Hunan Zhongwei Group and local partners will launch several industrial, tourism, and commercial projects in Uzbekistan's Ferghana Region.

Chinese Investors Set to Initiate New Projects in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Khayrullo Bozorov, the Hokim of Ferghana Region, convened a meeting with a delegation from Hunan Zhongwei Group Co., Ltd, headed by Chen Mingbo. The discussion focused on the execution of collaborative investment projects and the enhancement of their partnership.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that the company is already involved in significant investment initiatives within the region, and the collaboration between Ferghana Region and Chinese investors is progressing positively. The Chinese delegation expressed appreciation for the supportive business climate and acknowledged the increasing interest from Chinese entrepreneurs in the region.
As a result of the meeting, several investment agreements were signed with Hengtai LLC, a firm established through the initiative of Chinese investors, aimed at boosting the economy and tourism potential of the Ferghana Region.
Specifically, the agreements include the establishment of the Foshan industrial zone, the construction of a modern shopping center, a new zoo, and a tourism complex in Ferghana District, the development of a five-star hotel in Margilan, and the organization of high-quality cement and construction materials production in Uzbekistan District.
Additionally, an agreement was made with the private enterprise Hengii qurilish materiallari invistitsiyalar LLC to carry out a project for the production of construction materials.
The execution of these projects is anticipated to generate hundreds of new jobs, enhance the economic capacity of the Ferghana Region, and boost its appeal as a tourist destination.
