Ferghana Region and Orientex Synergy Explore Housing Initiatives

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Khayrullo Bozorov, the Hokim of the Ferghana Region, met with a delegation from the Malaysian firm Orientex Synergy Sdn Bhd, headed by CEO Mohd Hafiz bin Sharifuddin. The discussion focused on actionable steps for launching collaborative investment projects in residential construction.

This visit by the delegation follows up on agreements made during the Ferghana Region Hokim's official visit to Malaysia from June 1 to 3, 2026, where plans for developing modern residential complexes in the region were established.

During the discussions, Khayrullo Bozorov highlighted the advanced state of Malaysia's construction industry and pointed out that Uzbekistan, including the Ferghana Region, is actively implementing programs to construct modern multi-apartment buildings to address the increasing housing demand.

Orientex Synergy representatives indicated that their visit aims to thoroughly assess ongoing construction projects, evaluate potential sites, and identify avenues for future collaboration.

The Ferghana representatives expressed their willingness to allow the delegation to explore land plots earmarked for construction, areas involved in the urban renewal initiative, and existing modern residential complexes. Specialized experts will be designated to support the investors throughout the project.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to persist in their collaborative efforts to prepare and execute investment projects, as well as to foster long-term partnerships in the construction industry.
