Uzbekneftegaz and Honghua Group Bolster Drilling Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – During a recent working visit to China, a delegation from Uzbekneftegaz, headed by its management board chairman, engaged in discussions with the leadership of Honghua Group, a prominent global manufacturer of drilling equipment for the oil and gas sector. The primary focus of these talks was to broaden collaboration in drilling activities, execute joint ventures, and solidify their existing partnership.
The meeting included a review of their current cooperative efforts in drilling oil and gas wells. It was highlighted that agreements have already been finalized for the provision of four advanced ZJ70 drilling rigs, each boasting a lifting capacity of 450 tonnes.
A key point of discussion revolved around ensuring the punctual delivery of this equipment. Both parties acknowledged that the swift arrival of these drilling rigs would significantly expedite drilling operations and the subsequent activation of new wells.
The dialogue also encompassed the operations of UNG Burg'ilash, a specialized entity established to enhance Uzbekistan's drilling capabilities. Opportunities to further augment the technical prowess of this company and expand cooperation in this domain were thoroughly explored.
Furthermore, participants exchanged perspectives on establishing advantageous conditions for upcoming orders, taking into account the enduring nature of their partnership and existing contractual commitments.
