China Exports 478 More Head of Cattle to Uzbekistan
China's Wuzhong City exported 478 head of dairy and beef cattle to Uzbekistan, bringing total deliveries since November 2025 to over 1,700 head.
Wuzhong City, located in China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has dispatched an additional 478 head of cattle, comprising both dairy and beef breeds, to Uzbekistan. This information comes from the Dunyo news agency, which cited reports from the Chinese news agency Xinhua.
Since November 2025, Wuzhong has exported over 1,700 head of cattle to Uzbekistan, with dairy cows making up the predominant portion of these shipments.
Local officials confirmed that all animals met stringent veterinary and sanitary standards for export. Each consignment included documentation verifying disinfection and immunization, alongside the necessary quarantine certificates.
The Wuzhong Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs highlighted the superior productivity and robust genetic characteristics of the region's dairy cows. The bureau also noted the region's consistent adherence to high standards for the prevention and control of epizootic diseases over an extended period.
Moreover, the department pointed out that the comparable climatic conditions between Wuzhong and Central Asian nations aid in the animals' successful acclimatization to the natural environment and available feed in the region, thereby increasing their demand in the Uzbek market.
