Made in Uzbekistan Showroom Opens in Prague
A national Made in Uzbekistan showroom showcasing products from 17 leading enterprises opened in Prague, Czech Republic.
Uzbekistan has launched a "Made in Uzbekistan" showroom in Prague, showcasing export goods from 17 prominent Uzbek companies. This opening coincided with an Uzbek delegation's visit to the Czech Republic, where discussions with Czech counterparts led to agreements aimed at enhancing technical regulation cooperation.
Akmal Jumanazarov, Director of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation, led the Uzbek delegation. Their meetings with leaders of Czech industry-specific organizations covered a range of topics, including strengthening quality infrastructure, removing technical obstacles to trade, safeguarding consumer interests, implementing European market surveillance methods, broadening collaboration in metrology and standardization, leveraging artificial intelligence, and promoting scientific and innovative partnerships.
The visit concluded with the signing of agreements that will facilitate professional development and training for Uzbek specialists in the Czech Republic, as well as deepen cooperation with the Czech Metrology Institute.
Located in Prague's Anděl Park business complex, the "Made in Uzbekistan" national showroom features 48 different export products. This new venue is anticipated to boost the promotion of Uzbek products throughout European Union markets, increase Uzbekistan's export capabilities, and establish direct links with business communities in the Czech Republic and other EU member nations.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Czech Republic provided organizational and diplomatic assistance for the visit, including the negotiations, official meetings, and the showroom's inauguration.
Organizers believe that the agreements reached will further advance Uzbek-Czech collaboration in technical regulation and strengthen trade and economic ties.
