Uzbekistan and Slovenia agreed to promote joint investment projects following talks on expanding trade, technology and economic cooperation.

**Uzbekistan and Slovenia Commit to Advancing Investment Initiatives**

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek Ambassador Oybek Shakhavdinov held discussions in the Slovenian capital with representatives from leading Slovenian companies and organizations, focusing on expanding trade, economic, investment, and technological cooperation, the Dunyo News Agency reported.

The talks primarily explored opportunities for implementing joint projects in critical economic sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on collaboration in pharmaceuticals, energy, transport, digital technologies, engineering, waste processing, aviation, education, and consulting.

Slovenian business leaders expressed their keen interest in establishing joint ventures in Uzbekistan, localizing production, and making direct investments.

The meetings concluded with mutual agreements to further progress joint investment projects. Additionally, both sides consented to arrange visits for representatives of Slovenian companies to Uzbekistan, facilitate talks with relevant ministries and government agencies
