These issues were discussed during a meeting between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus, Nuriddin Mamajonov, and the Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus, Igor Sergeenko.
Uzbekistan's accession to the CIS Free Trade in Services and Investment Agreement could serve as a catalyst for the launch of new joint initiatives.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation with the regions of Belarus. Mamajonov noted that Uzbekistan views the Vitebsk Region as a key platform for implementing joint projects, where Uzbek entrepreneurs intend to develop a number of important initiatives.
The Belarusian side expressed its willingness to share its experience in spa treatment with Uzbekistan.
Deepening trade and investment ties is expected to elevate economic cooperation between the two countries to a qualitatively new level.
