Agat Credit to raise 50 billion soums in loan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Shareholders of microfinance organization Agat Credit have agreed to raise 50 billion soums in loan from the Business Development Bank. This decision was made at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on August 5, 2026. This was reported by the Openinfo corporate information disclosure system.

According to the adopted decision, the loan will be provided for a period of up to 36 months at an annual interest rate of 23 percent. The agreement also provides for a six-month grace period. The company will provide its standard loan portfolio as collateral for the loan.

Currently, Agat Credit has three bond issues in circulation with a total volume of 180 billion soums. The total volume of all bonds placed by the company has reached 250 billion soums, two of which have been fully paid off.

The company also plans to place corporate bonds in foreign currency in the amount of 10 million US dollars with an annual coupon rate of 11.5%.
