Agat Credit Approves 50 Billion Soum Bank Development Loan

Shareholders of Agat Credit approved a 50 billion soum loan from Business Development Bank, along with plans for a US$10 million bond issuance.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – At an extraordinary general meeting held on August 5, 2026, shareholders of the microfinance institution Agat Credit gave their approval to secure a 50 billion soum loan from the Business Development Bank. This information was disclosed via the Openinfo corporate information system.

The terms of the approved loan stipulate a maximum repayment period of 36 months, with an annual interest rate set at 23%. A six-month grace period is also included in the agreement. Agat Credit will use a standard loan portfolio as collateral for the financing.

Presently, Agat Credit has three bond issues actively circulating, amounting to a total of 180 billion soums. The company's cumulative bond issuance across all series has reached 250 billion soums, with two of these issues having already been fully redeemed.

Furthermore, Agat Credit intends to issue corporate bonds denominated in foreign currency, valued at US$10 million, carrying a coupon rate of 11.5%.
