A person who demanded 100 million soums in exchange for the privatization of 6 hectares of land was detained in Kashkadarya.

A person who gained the trust of a citizen and, promising to privatize the leased land, demanded a large sum of money was detained in the Koson district of the Kashkadarya region. This was reported by the Kashkadarya Internal Affairs Department press service.

According to the report, Odilboy Naimov, who introduced himself as "Javohir", offered his district resident Imron Murodullayev to privatize 6 hectares of land leased by the khokimiyat for a period of 30 years for a dehkan farm. He said that he would resolve this issue through a relative working in the agricultural department of the district khokimiyat, and demanded 100 million soums in return.

During the “Safe and Healthy Country” operational-preventive event, O. Naimov was detained with material evidence while receiving 100 million soums of chemically treated money.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2, Clause “a” of Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigation is underway.

Earlier, in Andijan, those who tried to formalize land in the state reserve for $39,000 were detained. In another case, it was reported that an assistant khokim was caught in the Kibray district of Tashkent region with $10,000. He demanded $50,000 in exchange for formalizing 4 acres of land in the state reserve in the name of the buyer by entering false information into the archive documents with the help of acquaintances working in the khokim.
