As part of the first summit in the "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" format, the First Lady of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, on September 16, participated in a cultural program organized at the "Cheong Wa Dae" residence together with the First Lady of the Republic of Korea, Kim Hye-gyung, and the First Lady of Kyrgyzstan, Aigul Japarova.
At the beginning of the program, during a traditional tea ceremony, the First Ladies exchanged views on the importance of cultural dialogue, the preservation of national traditions, and the further strengthening of humanitarian ties between the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea.
Then, a concert program introducing Korea's rich cultural heritage was presented for the high-ranking guests. It featured traditional Korean dances and musical pieces.
