Xiaomi presented the Skynomad N90 Max, a large hybrid SUV, along with its Explorer Edition version designed for travelers. The main feature of this version is a rising roof integrated into the body: during stops, it transforms the car into a two-story space with a maximum ceiling height of 2.29 meters.

The upper platform occupies about two square meters and can support a load of up to 200 kilograms. It features an independent climate control system, lighting, and ports for charging devices. When folded, the mechanism increases the vehicle's height by 100 mm, and the aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.245.

Due to this structure, the Explorer Edition is designed for five people instead of seven, unlike the standard N90 Max. The rear seats fold down electronically to form a 1.87×1.24 meter bed — without requiring them to be removed. The floor is covered with wood-textured aluminum and is equipped with a heating system of up to 38 °C.

Both versions are equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 310 kW, a 76 kWh battery, and a 60-liter fuel tank. The standard N90 Max model has an electric-only range of 464 km according to China's CLTC cycle, with a total range reaching 1705 km. In the Explorer Edition, this figure is slightly lower — 1688 km. Both models accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

The cabin runs on the HyperOS system and supports up to six displays, including a projection screen, a central display, and monitors for rear-seat passengers. In addition, there is a nine-liter compressor refrigerator and an audio system with 25 speakers.

Orders are being accepted for both versions, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November-December 2026. The Skynomad N90 Max is priced at 269,900 yuan (≈$40,000), while the Explorer Edition is valued at 299,900 yuan (≈$45,000). Seven body colors are offered for the lineup: dark red, green, blue, gray, khaki, white, and black.
