Uzbekistan and Turkey discussed the development of telecommunications
The Telecommunications Management Center of Uzbekistan held talks in Turkey with representatives of government agencies and technology companies, dedicated to the development of cooperation in the field of telecommunications and monitoring.
On September 7, the center's delegation met with the Vice President of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority of Turkey (BTK), Beytullah Koşçu. The parties exchanged experience and information on mobile device security issues.
In particular, the negotiators discussed mechanisms for detecting and blocking cloned devices, as well as practical approaches to combating fraud in telecommunication networks.
The parties paid special attention to the management and monitoring of the radio frequency spectrum. The agenda also included the implementation of anti-fraud systems, mobile number portability (MNP), numbering resource management, and calling line identification (CLI).
On September 8, the delegation of the Telecommunications Management Center held a meeting with the management of the Turkish technology company TechNarts, led by Taha Yaycı.
The talks focused on opportunities for cooperation in the field of monitoring mobile operator networks, television broadcasting, and the application of modern technological solutions.
The meeting participants also considered issues of exchanging technical expertise, practical experience, and information. Separately, the parties discussed prospects for joint projects, taking into account the technological needs and priority areas of activity of the Telecommunications Management Center.
The meetings held made it possible to discuss specific areas of further cooperation with Turkish state and technological partners and to form a basis for subsequent exchange of experience and implementation of joint initiatives.
