The Yangiabad Market in Tashkent will be renovated without changing its format.

Tashkent continues to modernize its urban infrastructure, and the famous Yangiabad Market will be one of the next projects.

City officials emphasize that the goal of the project is not to transform the traditional market format, often referred to as a "flea market," but to improve it by making it more convenient, safe, and comfortable for both vendors and visitors.

The renovation plan includes landscaping the area, improving sanitary conditions, enhancing security, creating the necessary infrastructure, and providing convenient passageways and parking spaces.

The current vendors' stalls will be preserved, as will the market's specialization and its recognizable atmosphere.

Currently, city officials are working with designers to develop a concept for the renovation of Yangiabad. Once completed, the project will be presented for public discussion. Residents will be able to review the proposed changes, ask questions, and make suggestions.

Authorities note that the key objective is to modernize the market in a way that takes into account the interests of the people, preserving its unique character and atmosphere, while creating a more modern and safe environment.
