Winners of the "Initiative Budget" announced
The winning projects of the 2nd season of the 2026 "Initiative Budget" process have been announced on the "Open Budget" portal.
The winners of the "Initiative Budget" were announced
On August 31, the voting process within the framework of the "Initiative Budget" ended. According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, a total of 10 million 124 thousand votes were registered throughout the republic in these processes.
According to the voting results, 2,195 projects with a total value of 3.1 trillion soums were recognized as winners. Of these projects, 2,059 are traditional projects, and 136 are partnership-based projects.
The main part of the winning projects is the repair of internal roads (including pedestrian walkways and overpasses) (1,022), the repair of secondary schools (476), and the repair of health care facilities and improvement of their material and technical base (173).
