The number of people promising money for votes has increased in the "initiative budget". The Ministry issued a warning

The number of people promising money in exchange for voting in the "Initiative Budget" project is increasing. In this regard, the ministry issued a warning.
Unofficial Telegram bots offering monetary rewards for voting in the "Initiative Budget" framework have increased on social networks.
It was reported that the Ministry of Economy and Finance has received hundreds of appeals regarding the non-distribution of promised funds.
The ministry noted that some third parties are promising citizens money or other material values in order to collect votes for projects. However, it is observed that the promised rewards are not provided later.
It is noted that voting in the "Initiative Budget" framework is carried out only through the "Open Budget" information portal, its Android and iOS mobile applications, and the official bot on Telegram.
According to the current regulations, citizens are not charged money for voting, and no material incentives are provided for votes cast.
The voting process will last until 23:59 on August 31. The Ministry urged citizens not to use unofficial bots, not to provide personal information to strangers, and to beware of scammers.
We would like to remind you that in the 2nd season of the "Initiative Budget" 2026, the participation of the city of Fergana in the voting stage was temporarily limited. This was due to the groundless rejection of some projects by the working commission.
