Voting on projects in Fergana city to be temporarily restricted as part of "Initiative Budget"

The participation of the city of Fergana in the voting process of the 2nd season of the "Initiative Budget" in 2026 will be temporarily suspended. This situation was caused by the unjustified rejection of some projects by the working commission.

A total of 23,551 projects were received from citizens this season. Of these, 20,254 successfully passed the selection stage by the working commissions and were sent to the voting stage. However, it was found that some projects in the city of Fergana were unjustifiedly rejected by the working commission.

In connection with this situation, the Ministry of Economy and Finance sent a request for a review of the projects based on the criteria established by the current legislation. However, the working commission of the city of Fergana did not provide a review of the projects.

Therefore, the voting stage for projects in the city of Fergana will be temporarily suspended until the working commission reviews the projects in accordance with the established criteria.

The voting stage for projects shortlisted under the "Initiative Budget" will begin at 23:59 on August 21 and will last until 23:59 on August 31.
