Which countries supply the most chicken meat to Uzbekistan

According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to August, Uzbekistan imported 39.8 thousand tons of chicken meat from 18 countries for a total of $47.6 million.

Compared to the same period in 2025, the import volume increased by 7.9 thousand tons, or by 24.8%.

Among the largest suppliers of chicken meat to Uzbekistan during this period were Turkey with 10.2 thousand tons, Russia with 7.2 thousand tons, and China with 5.2 thousand tons. These are followed by Belarus with 3.5 thousand tons and the USA with 3.4 thousand tons. Other countries accounted for 10.3 thousand tons of imports.

In August, it became known that poultry farming projects worth $432 million will be launched across the republic. By 2028, this will allow for the additional production of 100 thousand tons of poultry meat, increase the production of compound feed to 3.3 million tons, and expand modern slaughter capacities from 20% to 50%. This was discussed during a presentation to the president on measures to develop livestock and poultry farming, as well as to introduce modern technologies into the sector.
