The weather in Uzbekistan this week will be determined by low-pressure hot air conditions that will persist in the regions for a long time. In this synoptic situation, across the republic, except for the mountains and the north, nighttime coolness will be around +13…+18 degrees, and daytime heat will be around +30…+35 degrees.

By the weekend, the heat will intensify further. During the working days of the week, dry weather without precipitation is expected in other places, excluding mountainous areas.

According to foreign weather bureaus, due to the influence of this hot air current in a very large part of Uzbekistan on September 14−18, the average temperature for these 5 days will be 2−4 degrees higher than the long-term climatic norm.

According to Uzhydromet's forecasts for the days of the week, it has been determined that there will be no precipitation in other places of the republic except for mountainous areas on September 14−17. On September 18−20, the heat is expected to intensify further, and no precipitation is predicted even in the mountains. Therefore, the current week can be called a dry week.

During the working days of the week, temperatures of +10…15 degrees are forecast in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region, and mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, and +13…+18 degrees in other regions.

During the daytime, temperatures of +22…+27 degrees in the mountains, +30…+35 degrees in the southern regions, and +28…+33 degrees in other regions are recorded. By the weekend, air temperatures across the republic for both night and daytime periods will rise by 2−3 degrees compared to the working days of the week.

According to other information from Uzhydromet and forecasts of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), this week the average air temperature in most of the republic will be 1−3 degrees higher than the norm typical for this period, and in some areas 3−6 degrees higher, meaning it will be hot, while the amount of precipitation will be much less than the norm, meaning it will pass like a dry week.

Thus, starting from the second half of the week, a significant rise in temperature and an increase in the difference between day and night temperatures may place an additional burden on public health.

This week in Uzbekistan, daytime heat of +34…+36 degrees and nighttime coolness of +13…+18 degrees may place an additional physiological burden on the body. In particular, on Monday and Tuesday, there is a risk of a magnetic storm of a "red" warning level. For other days of the working week, a "yellow" level magnetic storm is mainly forecast.

Uzhydromet did not draw attention to strong winds during the week. The synoptic situation related to natural heavy air pollution is also quite stable for now. No strong meteorological factors are visible yet for a sharp increase in dust particles.
