According to the National Statistics Committee, in January–July 2026, Uzbekistan's imports reached 29.6 billion USD. This figure is 17.8 percent higher compared to the same period in 2025.

The largest share in the structure of imports fell on machinery and transport equipment — 9.7 billion dollars. This accounts for almost one-third of total imports. Growth in this category was 20 percent.

Imports of industrial goods amounted to 4.4 billion dollars, while imports of services stood at 3.6 billion dollars. Imports of chemicals and similar products also equaled 3.6 billion dollars.

Imports of food products and live animals reached 3.3 billion dollars. Growth in this category was 41.9 percent, recording the highest growth rate among the listed categories.

Imports of mineral fuels, lubricants, and similar materials amounted to 2.5 billion dollars. This figure increased by 10.7 percent in annual comparison.

Imports of various manufactured articles reached 1 billion dollars, growing by 14 percent. Imports of non-food raw materials, excluding fuel, amounted to 909.8 million dollars.

Imports of animal and vegetable oils, fats, and waxes stood at 363 million dollars. This is 25.3 percent more compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Meanwhile, imports of beverages and tobacco products amounted to 222.2 million dollars. A growth of 15.3 percent was recorded in this category.
