Uzbekistan’s imports rise 17.8% to $29.6 billion in January-July 2026

Uzbekistan's imports rose 17.8% year-on-year to $29.6 billion in January-July 2026, the National Statistics Committee said on September 15.

Uzbekistan’s imports climbed 17.8% to $29.6 billion in January-July 2026.

The Central Asian country purchased goods and services from more than 160 countries during the period, according to data released on Tuesday. China was the largest supplier at $9.6 billion, followed by Russia at $5.3 billion, Kazakhstan at $2.4 billion, Türkiye at $1,049.6 million, the Republic of Korea at $1,037.0 million, Turkmenistan at $657.5 million, Germany at $640.0 million, India at $607.4 million, Belarus at $508.6 million and the UAE at $507.9 million.

Separately, the committee said exports came to $19.9 billion in the same period, with Russia the top destination at $2.8 billion, ahead of China at $1.7 billion and Afghanistan at $1.1 billion. Kazakhstan imported $868 million, France $854.9 million, Hong Kong $716 million, Turkey $596.2 million, the Kyrgyz Republic $575.8 million, Tajikistan $437.5 million, and the UAE $420.8 million. The top 10 destinations together made up more than half of total exports.
