Warehouses are burning near Kiev: explosions are observed

Fires and explosions are taking place in warehouses in the Bucha district of the Kiev region after an attack by Russian troops. Traffic was temporarily suspended on a section of the Kiev-Chop highway as a result of the incident. Information on the number of victims and the extent of damage is being clarified.

A fire broke out in a warehouse in the Bucha district near Kiev on the evening of August 28, accompanied by explosions. The incident was caused by a Russian attack.

Emergency services are working at the scene. Rescuers are trying to eliminate the consequences of the attack and bring the fire under control.

Tkachenko urged local residents to stay away from the scene and follow the instructions of emergency services.

There are no exact data on the number of casualties and the extent of the damage caused by the attack.

According to the head of the Ukrainian Patrol Police Department, Alexey Biloshitsky, all traffic on the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway from 15 to 32 kilometers has been temporarily suspended due to the incident.

The police also announced a scheme for bypassing the area closed to drivers.

Authorities have not yet provided details about exactly what products were stored in the warehouses or what caused the explosions.
