In New Tashkent, sites will be allocated for projects of entrepreneurs from across the country. Video

For entrepreneurs from each district of Tashkent and 13 regions of Uzbekistan, 100 hectares of land will be allocated in New Tashkent. In this way, the authorities expect to involve business not only from the capital, but also from other regions of the country in the development of the new city.

This was stated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

District khokims will be required to interact with local entrepreneurs and help them launch projects in the allocated territories. At the same time, the invested funds will be counted toward the indicators of the corresponding district of Tashkent or region, allowing their contribution to the local economy to be reflected.

In order for local business to have an advantage at the start, only entrepreneurs from the district of the capital or the region to which the plot is allocated will be able to participate in the first land auctions.

Mirziyoyev noted that New Tashkent should become a platform for the development of entrepreneurship from all over the country.

As a reminder, infrastructure payments for businesses will be reduced in New Tashkent to stimulate the construction of hotels, shopping centers, tourism, and social facilities.
