Uzmetkombinat Joint Stock Company and SINO STEEL Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited held a meeting to discuss plans to increase the production capacity of the metallurgical plant. Among other things, the discussions focused on the construction of a new blast furnace and the commercial development of several deposits.
According to Uzmetkombinat JSC, the talks took place in China as part of a working visit by representatives of the Uzbek plant.
The Uzmetkombinat delegation was led by Bakhodir Abdullayev, Chairman of the Board. During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to further expand the plant's production capacity, implement advanced engineering and technological solutions, optimize production processes, and create new industrial facilities.
Particular attention was paid to the construction of a new blast furnace on the Uzbek plant's premises.
In addition, the negotiators discussed geological exploration at the Tebinbulak, Temirkan, and Zakar-Chuyan deposits. The agenda also included the organization of drilling operations and subsequent commercial development of these deposits.
The aim of the projects under discussion is to strengthen Uzmetkombinat's raw material base, enhance its technological capabilities, and create additional metallurgical capacity.
These negotiations marked the next step in the company's international cooperation in implementing large-scale industrial initiatives.
