Uzbekistan's Tax Committee reaches agreement with British universities

The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has reached agreements with British universities on training specialists in the tax system and improving educational programs. These agreements were signed on the first day of the working visit of the committee representatives to the UK.

An agreement was reached with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to open a faculty in the field of "Hidden Economy" on the basis of the Higher School of Tax Service. Also, 20 specialists from Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to improve their skills in the UK.

Another important area of cooperation is related to the Hull Business School. It is planned to organize special training courses on the issues of the hidden economy and digitalization of the tax system in collaboration with the British school.

According to the Tax Committee, these agreements are aimed at studying advanced foreign experience and its subsequent implementation in national practice.

In addition, the partnership includes training a new generation of tax professionals.
