Uzbekistan won bronze at the World Cadet Judo Championships

The Uzbekistan Cadet Judo Team won a bronze medal at the World Championships in Guayaquil, defeating France 4-1 in the mixed team competition, according to the Judo Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On the final day of the World Championships, when the team medalists were determined, the Uzbek team, among the top 12 teams in the championship, confidently defeated the French team 4-1 in the match for third place.

With this team bronze, the Uzbekistan team finished the World Championships with a total of seven medals. In the individual competitions, coached by Aurelio Ciprian-Flis, the team's athletes won one gold, one silver, and four bronze medals.

Based on the results of the individual competition, Uzbekistan placed among the top three medalists out of 60 participating countries.

Iroda Sirojiddinova won the gold medal in the 40 kg weight class.

Jurabek Eshpulatov won silver in the 90 kg weight class.

Bronze medals were won by Bobur Yusupov (55 kg), Bekhruzbek Usmonov (73 kg), Alina Kolyucheva (44 kg), and Charos Khikmatova (48 kg).

Thus, the Uzbekistan cadet team finished the world championship with seven medals: one gold, one silver, and five bronze medals, one of which was won in the mixed team competition.
