Uzbekistan to play Russia in home friendly

Tashkent Times is an English language online-newspaper that brings all latest Uzbekistan news

Uzbekistan will face Russia in a home friendly during the November FIFA international window. The match is scheduled for Nov. 12 at Pakhtakor Stadium.

The two sides last met in a friendly in Tashkent in 2022, when the game finished 0-0.

Uzbekistan was also reported to be set for an away friendly against Saudi Arabia in the same November window, from November 9–17. However, neither side has yet confirmed the match or its date, likely because of tensions in the Middle East.
