Uzbekistan to face Syria in Tashkent friendly

Uzbekistan’s national football team will face Syria in a friendly at Tashkent’s Pakhtakor Stadium on October 1, with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m.

Uzbekistan will take on Syria in a friendly in Tashkent.

The match will be the second game for Fabio Cannavaro’s side during the current international window.

Uzbekistan head into the fixture after a 3–1 win over Iran at Istiklol Stadium in Fergana. Eldor Shomurodov scored twice, and Khusayin Norchaev added the third goal to seal the victory.

The team’s next friendly is set for October 6, when Uzbekistan will travel to play South Korea.
